On October 29, 2014, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Access Doug McDonald, participated in the panel presentation “Scary Lending Stories” for the Denver RMA chapter luncheon. Joining Doug, was Thad Allen, Chief Credit Officer of Zions Bank and Tennyson Grebenar, Partner at the law firm of Lewis Roca Rothgerber. The presentation and luncheon were sponsored by Access and were coordinated by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the RMA, along with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Denver Branch.
The October 16, 2014, Roger Anderson of Access, attended the Oregon Economic Forum. The forum featured economic presentations from professors at the University of Oregon, University of California at Berkeley and the Brookings Institution.
The October 7, 2014 Dinner Meeting of the Puget Sound Chapter of the RMA was sponsored by Access. The topic of “What to Expect from the Region’s Economy and Real Estate Markets in 2015″ was presented by Matthew J.D. Gardner, Principal of Nabe, Gardner Economics, who also chairs the Board of Trustees at the Washington Center for Real Estate Research.
As part of Access’ ongoing support of the various chapters of the Risk Management Association, Access sponsored the Annual Three Chapter Golf Tournament in Salt Lake City. Doug McDonald’s golf prowess led his foursome to overtake the field and achieve the covetable position of coming in dead last in the tournament.
Joining Jack Bertges, Access Business Finance was the proud co-sponsor of the 21st Annual “Out to Lunch” golf outing held at the Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco. Access has co-sponsored this event for the past 4 years. The golf outing benefits the San Francisco and Marin Food Bank and raises over $50,000 annually and has raised over $375,000 in contributions for the Food Bank for the past 17 years. Tom Cleveland, Co-Founder and Managing Partner attends the event annually.

For many manufacturers, Account-Receivable Factoring and Asset-Based Lending have negative connotation. The talk demonstrated how both financing options have the potential to be high-value tools for accessing the capital needed for either growth of liquidity.
